LP 100R Laser Printer Operator's Guide
Energy Fusion
The Energy Fusion setting changes power to the fuser lamp to optimize the fusing
of the printed image.
The Low setting (the preferred setting) maximizes the life of the fuser lamp and
other replaceable components. The higher settings may be required when printing
specialized documents.
Note: The Energy Fusion setting can not be changed when a print job is in
progress.
1. Press the Up or Down triangle on the Printer Setup menu to move the
selection bar to the Energy Fusion function.
2. Press Enter, which causes the following Energy Fusion Setting screen to
display:

Brackets ( [ ] ) around a specific Energy Fusion setting indicate that it is
the Default Energy Fusion setting.
An arrow () pointing to a specific Energy Fusion setting indicates that it
is the setting assigned to the current configuration.
