Countdown Timer

Entering a Start Time
Document generated: 10.10.14
Notes
In order to use the countdown timer on an OnAir 2500 or OnAir 3000 console,
a COUNT DOWN timer and 3(down) and 4(up) desk hardware keys need to
be defined via an XML file.
The countdown timer and the user stopwatch cannot be used simultaneously.
However, when deactivating COUNT DOWN while the countdown timer is
running simply reverses the counting direction.
If the COUNT DOWN timer key is active the display shows a countdown timer.
The start time can be adjusted with the 3(down) and 4(up) keys. Pressing
one of these keys for an extended time continually increases the setting speed
for quick and convenient adjustment. Maximum start time is 23:59:59.
Once the start time is adjusted the countdown timer is started with START.
Start
While running, the START key is illuminated. When reaching zero, the count-
down timer stops, the START key becomes dark, and the original start time
flashes for a few seconds in the display. Afterwards it is displayed steadily.
Restart
While running, the countdown timer can be restarted from the adjusted start
time by pressing START.
When pressing STOP the countdown timer is paused at the current reading;
Pause
pause is indicated by a flashing START key. Pressing START again resumes
the countdown from the current reading.
Pressing STOP twice stops the countdown timer and resets it to the original
Stop
start time.
