Export/import Labels

Export to a CSV formatted file

The "Tools" menu is only available in the standalone Configuration Tool.
Change System opens the system selection dialog that allows to select a sup-
ported DNet system.
The Configuration Tool supports import and export of labels using CSV for-
matted files. A CSV formatted file is an implementation of a delimited text
file, which uses a tab (originally comma) to separate values. Providing such
files allows to easily edit labels in an editor of choice (e.g. Excel).
To export a CSV formatted file, connect to a system in the Configuration Tool
and click the menu "Tools – Export Labels". The filename for the exported
file is suggested in the format "yymmdd systemname.txt" (e.g. 081022
P2K5_192.txt). Nevertheless any filename of choice can be used. An exported
file looks as follows:
