ROOM source selector. PFL TO MON is illuminated if active.
The ADD function is very handy for a station takeover. It allows temporarily
selecting two sources for the CR monitoring. The second source is temporar-
ily added by pressing ADD, and, while ADD is illuminated, selecting a second
source. Now both sources are either mixed together or sent to the left/right
monitor channels (configurable); ADD will be dark, but the source selector
keys of both active sources will be illuminated.
The ADD function is canceled automatically when selecting the next source.
If enabled in the Configuration Tool (see
deactivated for CR and Studio 1 individually), this mode enables the CR or
ST1 LSP signal to be split depending on the HP Split Mode in a similar way
as for the headphones.
With PFL TO MON not active, the LSP Split mode does not affect the CR/ST1
monitor speakers at all.
With PFL TO MON active, PFL and the PFL / MON button or the HP Split Mode
selector in the UserGUI, see
speakers as follows :
MON
CR/ST1 monitor speakers provide the stereo/5.1 signal selected by the source
selector as long as no PFL is active. Otherwise, the stereo SP SRC
fed to the CR/ST1 monitor speakers.
PFL / MON
Activating PFL on any channel provides two mono signals to the CR/ST1
monitor speakers. The left
while the right
for the CR/ST1 monitor speakers by the source selector. If the SP SRC
is the same as the CR/ST1 monitor signal or no PFL is active, the CR/ST1
monitor speaker signal is the stereo/5.1 CR/ST1 monitor signal as if MON
were active (see above).
