Snapshots may be copied from the external medium to the global section of
the local snapshots list by the administrator only.
With SW V5.0 and up, processing parameter settings can be handled in a
more comfortable way; they may now be saved in local libraries. In case of
a networked system, these libraries may also be located on a central server
and accessed from every console within the network.
The parameters of a logical input are copied into the clipboard displayed in the
right part of the screen (non permanent on power-off) and, if required, from
there into permanent libraries that are linked to either users or departments.
The parameters can, via the clipboard again, be pasted per processing block
into single or multiple logical inputs. If no permanent copy is desired, pasting
directly from the clipboard to logical inputs is possible as well. This allows
a quick setup of several logical inputs with identical or similar parameter
settings.
The upper part of the screen is used for copying parameters between the
clipboard (right) and the libraries (left); the lower part for parameter transfer
from the selected logical input to the clipboard and vice versa.
Selects the library from or to which parameters will be pasted/copied, either
on the console (Local) or on a central server (Remote). The library may also
be selected with the Library rotary knob.
Selects the logical input to or from which parameters will be saved or recalled.
Upon touching this button a menu for input selection pops up.
Copy >>
Copies all parameters from the selected logical input to the clipboard. If a
library is selected as shown above, more navigation buttons appear to copy the
contents of the clipboard into the current library or vice versa, and to rename
or delete a library.
Deletes the parameters of the adjacent processing block from the clipboard,
the corresponding field will be empty. When pasting the parameters to a dif-
ferent logical input directly from the clipboard, the parameters of the cleared
