Systems Without a Main Screen
Document generated: 10.10.14
Rename
For renaming backup configuration files on the external medium. If the new
name should already exist, a dialog box appears where overwriting the exist-
ing backup has to be confirmed.
Delete
For deleting backup configuration files from the external medium. A dialog
box appears where deleting the selected backup has to be confirmed.
Reboot
Reboots all sub-systems of the selected system, e.g. core, desks and channel
screens of the OnAir 3000. A dialog box appears where rebooting the current
system has to be confirmed. If at least one channel should be on-air, the reboot
is not executed, but a user warning appears instead in such a case.
This page is intended for calibration of the touch-screen functionality. This
normally is required during system setup in the factory only. Each screen is
calibrated separately.
Select the screen to be calibrated by touching the corresponding button. A
sequence of several calibration spots will be displayed, the center of which
must be touched as accurately as possible. If you should decide to cancel cali-
bration mode without changes, you may just wait until the time-out counter
has elapsed (25 seconds).
Neither finger nor fingernail will do for this purpose – carefully use a fine
tool with a not-too-sharply-pointed tip (such as a PDA pen or a medium-sized
screwdriver); do not apply excess pressure in order to avoid damaging the
touch screen surface.
Please proceed very carefully – a miscalibration may cause the touch screen
to become inoperative. Once finished, a confirmation window appears; please
do not confirm unless you are absolutely sure that everything is ok.
If required, repeat this procedure for every screen of your system.
Calibration mode for channel screens in a system without main screen can
be entered as well: After applying power to the screen, keep the Studer logo
touched until the next page appears, then select screen calibration mode.
When proceeding, the same care must be applied as described above.
