Performing PSTN connectivity testing

To test your remote unit's PSTN connections:
From the Menu Bar, choose Tests → PSTN Connectivity.

Result: The PSTN Connectivity Test dialog box displays, similar to the
following:

Select the Remote ID of the unit that you want to check the PSTN
connection on from the Remote ID drop down list box.

Do one of the following:
Click on the Disruptive option button for tests performed at initial
installations or after-hours when you can shut down the entire system.
Click on the Non-Disruptive option button for tests performed during
business hours or any time when you cannot shut down the entire
system.

Enter the port number of the first port that you want to test PSTN
connectivity on in the Start Port field.

Enter the port number of the last port that you want to test PSTN
connectivity on in the End Port field.

Click on the OK button.
When the test is complete, the unit presents a log with test results and statistics.
