Unpacking and inspecting the equipment

Before you unpack the equipment, ensure that your work area is safe from
electrostatic discharge. For more details, refer to "Electrostatic discharge safety
precautions" on page 78. Before you install the RLC, ensure that the package
contents are all present and are not damaged.
If any component is damaged, report the damage immediately to your Nortel
distributor and the carrier who delivered the equipment.
