M39xx Release 2 telephones with MCAs
When configuring RLCs for QoS Transitioning Technology, you must configure
a data port as a Meridian Communications Adapter (MCA).
A patch is required for CS 2100 sites using only M39xx Release 2 telephones
and PBX software versions MSL14 or earlier to allow QoS transition. This is
due to the fact that CS 2100 PBXs using software version MSL14 or earlier and
configured for only M39xx Release 2 telephones do not recognize MCAs.
The patch numbers are:
JDT01.xxx
JDT04.xxx
where xxx denotes the PBX version number.
