Install DSP application modules on
the RLC, if required.

Install and cable each RLC.

Install the software from the product
CD-ROM or download the software
from the Nortel web site.
4. RLC configuration

Configure the IP address, subnet
mask, and default gateway on the
RLC.

If you want to use the PBX's
administration terminal to administer
the RLC, configure the IP address and
subnet mask of the RLC's ELAN
port.

Configure the following items, as
required, to create the communication
paths between the RLC and the
remote unit:

IP network: remote unit's IP
address
PSTN: remote unit's telephone
number
security level and, if required,
security identifier
