Maintaining the MX2010 Adapter Cards

Purpose
For optimum router performance, verify the condition of the adapter cards. The router can have up to ten
adapter cards mounted vertically in the line-card cage at the front of the chassis. The MPCs are installed
vertically into the adapter cards.
Action
On a regular basis:
Issue the CLI show chassis adc command to check the status of installed adapter cards. As shown in the
sample output, the value Online in the column labeled State indicates that the adapter card is functioning
normally:
