About this task
Secure Shell protocol is used to improve Telnet and provide a secure access to the CLI
interface. There are two versions of the SSH Protocol. The WLAN 8100 Series SSH supports
SSH2.

Command
Field
Description
Resets the SSL server. If SSL is enabled, the SSL
server is restarted and initialized with the certificate
that is stored in the NVRAM. Any existing SSL
connections are closed. If SSL is not enabled, the
existing nonsecure connection is also closed and the
nonsecure operation resumes.
Shows the SSL server configuration and SSL server
state.
Displays the certificate which is stored in the NVRAM
and is used by the SSL server.
Shows whether the Web server is using an
SSL connection.
Displays one of the following states:
• Un-initialized: The server is not running.
• Certificate Initialization: The server is
generating a certificate during its
initialization phase.
• Active: The server is initialized and
running.
Shows whether SSL is in the process of
generating a certificate. The SSL server
generates a certificate during server startup
initialization, or CLI user can regenerate a
new certificate.
Shows whether an SSL certificate exists in
the NVRAM. The SSL certificate is not
present if the system is being initialized for
the first time or CLI user has deleted the
certificate.
