1.
List the existing System 85's trunk groups. Note those that are to be directed to
the Octel 200/300.
2.
Change Trunk Groups Name field to be answered by the Octel 200/300 to read
T-XXX (XXX = Trunk Group Access Code in the PBX).
3.
Write down the Trunk Access Code Group Number in the System 85. These
are needed for the Octel 200/300 configuration.

List the current System 85 stations.
2.
Change the stations name field to fit XXX First Name, Last Name (XXX =
extension number)
3.
If station has lamp message waiting, LWC must be enabled in its COS in the
PBX.
4.
Assign the stations to be forwarded to the Octel 200/300 to an appropriate call
coverage group that includes the Octel 200/300 as a point of coverage.

Actual Installation

Assign a COS with Attribute 9 to those mailboxes of ex-
tension that should have message waiting indication
(MWI)
2.
Modify System Parameter 3 (PBX type is System 85)
3.
Modify System Parameter 116 to be YES.
4.
Modify System Parameter 170 to be YES.
5.
Mailbox and extension numbers should match.
