Station Extensions

All of the DEFINITY G3i extensions must have their STATION data modified in order to work with
Adaptive Integration.
Configuration
The station extensions are configured as follows:
1. List the DEFINITY G3i stations.
2. Use the CHANGE command to modify one of the stations. Figure 7.1-13 shows an example of a
STATION data entry screen for a 2500 type phone. Extensions may be configured as other types of
stations, but the STATION data screen for the 2500 type phone illustrates the essential station
extension changes needed for use with Adaptive Integration.
3. Change the station's Name entry to fit this format as described in the Naming Conventions section in
this chapter. Example,
First XXX Last
First is the station owner's first name, XXX is the 3- to 8-digit station extension, and Last is the
station owner's last name.
