Changes for Called Party Identification

To configure the Octel 200/300 with Called Party Identification on a System 85, the following
configuration changes must be made through the UPDATE program.

System Parameter 3 — PBX MODEL
Select the model number of the telephone system from the list.
System Parameter 116 — SHOULD INTEGRATION BE
ACTIVATED.
Modify System Parameter 116 to be .
System Parameter 170 — INTEGRATION LAMP ON/OFF LINK
MUST MATCH.
Modify System Parameter 170 to be YES.
For each integration unit configured with one or more message waiting
links, the following is also configured:
Whether the link is enabled to perform lamp message waiting
-
notification (MWN)
Whether the link is used as the system default link or lamp MWN
-
Specific COS or ranges of COS for which the link is to perform
-
lamp MWN
.
Only one default must be defined for message waiting to operate
correctly.

the Slots Table section, for more information.
COS Attribute 15 — TRANSFER TO A RINGING EXTENSION
Assign a COS with Attribute 15 to mailboxes of extensions that the
System 85 forwards to the Octel 200/300.
INFORMATION Table Index 25 — QUICK GREETING
ACTIVATION
Modify Information Table Index 25 to YES to allow selected direct
internal callers to change and turn ON/OFF their personal greetings
without first entering their mailboxes.
COS Attribute 58 — DO NOT USE THIS PORT FOR
INTEGRATION
Assign this COS attribute to those Octel 200/300 ports used in special
applications that do not require integration.
