Testing Procedure

After the test extensions are configured and the AT&T System 75 is prepared for testing, begin the testing
procedures.
1. PRELIMINARY ANALOG EXTENSION TEST (New installations only)
This test verifies that dial tone is present on each of the single line analog extensions used for
the Octel 200/300 ports.

b. Connect the modular adapter to the 25-pair cable associated with slot 1.

d. Go off-hook. Is dial tone present?
2. PRELIMINARY DIGITAL EXTENSION TEST
This test verifies that dial tone is present on the digital extensions used for the ATTIC links.

b. Connect the phone to the jack position of the adapter that corresponds to Integration Unit 1,

d. Press the first line appearance button and verify that the red and green lamp next to the
