The following examples show how a coverage path may be specified to include the Octel 200/300.

Coverage Conditions
For this example, assume that the condition describes coverage by the Octel 200/300 with the following
configuration:
Direct internal calls to coverage if station is active, busy, or RNA.

Direct external calls to coverage if station is busy or RNA.

Coverage Points
The coverage path is set up as follows:
The first coverage point is the Octel 200/300 hunt group.

The second coverage point (in the event the Octel 200/300 fails to answer the call) is the attendant

(extension 0).
No third point is specified.

Figure 7.1-11 shows a coverage path configured to meet the above specifications. For stations assigned
this coverage path, internal calls are redirected to coverage if the station is either active or unanswered
after four rings. An external call is redirected to coverage if the station is either busy or unanswered after
four rings. Specifying busy also redirects calls if the station is active.
Calls redirected to coverage are first sent to the Octel 200/300. Should the Octel 200/300 fail to answer
the call within the Don't Answer Interval for Subsequent Redirection (e.g., if all Octel 200/300 ports are
busy), the call is redirected to the attendant (extension 0).
