Octel 200/300 Port Extensions

System 75 station data must be changed for all the Octel 200/300 port extensions that are to be
integrated.
Configuration
Proceed with the configuration of the Octel 200/300 port extension as follows:

Screen 7.2-7 gives a general example of a station data entry screen for an Octel 200/300 port
extension.
1. Note which extensions are currently used for the Octel 200/300 ports, and which of those extensions
are to be used for integrated ports.
2. Use the CHANGE command to modify one of the Octel 200/300 port extensions to be integrated.
Figure 7.2-7 shows an example of the data entry screen for a the Octel 200/300 port (2500 type
single-line analog extension).
3. Be sure to assign the COR defined for the integrated the Octel 200/300 ports (COR Octel 200/300) in
the System 75 Configuration section, COR.
4. Change the Name entry so that it fits this format:
Name: D-XXX
XXX is the 3- to 8-digit extension of each the Octel 200/300 port. This allows the ATTIC to
recognize the Octel 200/300 ports from call record information.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 above for each integrated the Octel 200/300 port.
6. The integrated the Octel 200/300 ports are not placed in a hunt group. To determine if any the Octel
200/300 port extensions appear as part of a hunt group, enter
LI GR STATION XXX
where XXX is the port extension number.
Repeat the command for each the Octel 200/300 port extension.
If any Octel 200/300 port extension appears as part of a hunt group, delete the extension from the
hunt group.
