Modifying Architectural Columns
Changing Column Types
When you activate the Column tool to place columns, you can select different types of columns in the Type
Selector.
Moving a Column
You can move the column by selecting the column and dragging it to the new location.
Architectural Column Properties
You can modify several properties for architectural columns, including width, depth, base and top level.
Modifying Architectural Column Properties
1 From a plan view, select the architectural column, and click Modify Columns tab
2 In the Instance Properties dialog, edit architectural column instance parameters.
3 Click Edit Type to edit architectural column type parameters.
4 Click OK.

You can click Duplicate to create a new architectural column type.
Description
Specifies the color of the Coarse Scale Fill Pattern in any coarse plan view.
Specifies the cut pattern that displays within the column in any coarse plan view.
The material of the column.
Sets the depth of columns when placed.
Sets the offset of the column base.
