Changing the Window Type
1 Select the window in the project view.
2 Click Modify Windows tab

Modifying the Window Position
1 In a plan view, select the window.
2 Right-click to open the shortcut menu.
3 Choose from the following options:
Flip Hand: flips the window horizontally. This option is available only if the particular
window family was created with horizontal controls.
Flip Facing: flips the window vertically. This option is available only if the particular window
family was created with vertical controls.

Modifying Window Properties
1 From a plan view, select the window and click Modify Windows tab

2 In the Instance Properties dialog, edit window instance parameters.

3 Click Edit Type to edit window type parameters.

NOTE Changes made to type parameters affect all windows of this type in the project. You can click
Duplicate to create a new window type.
4 Click OK.

Description
This parameter sets the layer wrapping around the window. It overrides any settings
in the host.
