Troubleshooting the T1600 Craft Interface

The following alarms and LEDs indicate a problem with an SCG:
The yellow
FAIL
LED on the SCG faceplate is lit.
The green
LED on the SCG faceplate is not lit.
FAIL
A red alarm indicates that the SCG has failed or has been removed.
A yellow alarm indicates that the SCG is not online.
To troubleshoot the T1600 SCGs:
Check the LEDs on the faceplate of each SCG.

Check the LEDs on the craft interface.
2.
Use the CLI to check for alarms.
3.
Standalone T1600 router—Issue the
alarms.
T1600 router in a routing matrix—Issue the
command to view the alarms.
In Table 35 on page 181, the text in the column labeled "LCD Message" appears in the
display of the craft interface. The text in the column labeled "CLI Message" appears in
the output from the
show chassis alarms

The following alarms, LEDs, and other conditions indicate a problem with the craft
interface:
None of the LEDs on the craft interface are lit.
A yellow alarm indicates that the craft interface has failed.
