The following alarms and LEDs indicate a problem with a SIB:
The yellow
LED on the SIB faceplate is lit.
FAIL
The green
OK
LED on the SIB faceplate is not lit.
A red alarm indicates that the SIB failed or has been removed.
A yellow alarm indicates that a spare SIB has failed or has been removed.
To troubleshoot the T1600 SIBs:
Check the LEDs on the faceplate of each SIB.
1.
Check the LEDs on the craft interface.
2.
Use the CLI to check for alarms.
3.
Standalone T1600 router—Issue the
alarms.
T1600 router in a routing matrix—Issue the
command to view the alarms.
In Table 31 on page 177 and Table 32 on page 178, the text in the column labeled "LCD
Message" appears in the display of the craft interface. The text in the column labeled
"CLI Message" appears in the output from the
