DC POWER section

1 DC POWER INPUT connector
The PW1D power supply can be connected to these
connectors.
Hint
The CS1D will operate normally if a PW1D is con-
nected to just one of the two DC POWER INPUT
connectors. However it is also possible to connect
two PW1Ds to each DC POWER INPUT connector
respectively. In this case, power will be supplied from
both PW1D units during normal operation, but even
if one of the PW1D units should fail, power will con-
tinue to be supplied from the remaining PW1D.

2 FAN HIGH/LOW switch
This switches the cooling fan between high and low
settings.
For normal use, set this to LOW.
However if the CS1D is in a location of high temper-
ature or is outside in direct sunlight, set this to
HIGH.
You should also set this to HIGH if you feel that the
front panel of the console is warmer than usual.
