7 Use
7.1 Terminal device on/off
The terminal device can be switched off when a grip is to be maintained for a longer period of
time, while holding cutlery, writing or during longer passive pauses, for example, while travelling
by rail or air. This prevents unintentional opening of the hand caused by inadvertent tensing of the
muscles or extreme electrical interference. The operating time of the prosthesis battery is also
extended.
The ON/OFF button can be operated by pressing on the prosthetic glove.

10 Maintenance
Performing regular maintenance (service inspections) every 24 months is recommended to pre
vent injuries and maintain the quality of the product.
In general, all products are subject to compliance with the maintenance intervals during the war
ranty period. This is the only way to maintain full warranty cover.
Additional services such as repairs may be provided in the course of maintenance. These addi
tional services may be provided free of charge or can be billable according to an advance cost
estimate, depending on the extent and validity of the warranty.
