60-MEGABYTE CARTRIDGE TAPE DRIVE (KS-23417,L2)
The 60-Megabyte Cartridge Tape Drive is used as a streaming device for mass storage of data. As
the name suggests, the drive provides 60-megabytes of formatted storage capacity. Formatting of the
tape is not necessary because no Volume Table of Contents (VTOC) is used.
The drive may be an internal part of the 3B2 computer cabinet or it may be a separate SCSI
peripheral. Either way, connection to the 3B2 computer is via a SCSI Host Adapter card.
