Cover Assembly, Top, Pedestal Models

Removal
1. Prepare the printer for maintenance (page 230).
2. Remove the control panel assembly (page 276).
3. Loosen (do not remove) the two #2 Phillips hold-down screws on the rear
of the printer. (See page 334, item 5.)
4. Remove the #2 Phillips screw in the lower left front corner of the top cover
and the screw just to the right of the control panel bracket. (See page 334,
item 3.)
5. Lift the top cover assembly off the printer base.
Installation
1. Reverse steps 3 through 5 of the removal procedure.
2. Return the printer to normal operation (page 231).
