Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Installation
Transit/Tourneo Connect 2002.5 (06/2002-)
1. Remove the catalytic converter.
Refer to: Catalytic Converter - 1.8L Duratorq-
TDCi (Lynx) Diesel/1.8L Duratorq-TDDi (Lynx)
Diesel (309-00 Exhaust System, Removal and
Installation).
2. Torque: 23 Nm
3. NOTE: Note the position of the component
before removal.
Torque: 20 Nm
1. CAUTION: A new component may be
supplied with a longer cable than the one
removed. Make sure that the cable cannot be
damaged or cause a noise, vibration or
harshness (NVH) concern.
NOTE: Make sure that the sensor is installed
in the same location as when removed.
NOTE: Make sure that a new component is
installed.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
