Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.

flexible pipe may cause damage resulting in
failure.
Support the exhaust flexible pipe with a suitable
support wrap or suitable splint.
3.
support the exhaust tailpipe and muffler
assembly to prevent damage to the exhaust
hanger insulators.
Detach the exhaust flexible pipe from the
exhaust tailpipe and muffler assembly.
4. Remove the exhaust flexible pipe.
Installation
NOTE: Coat the muffler and tail pipe

assembly studs with anti-seize grease.
NOTE: Install new catalytic converter gasket
and nuts.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
