Removal and Installation
Transit/Tourneo Connect 2002.5 (06/2002-)
Removal
1. Evacuate the fuel lines. For additional
information, refer to Section

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For
additional information, refer to Section

3. Disconnect the fuel injection supply manifold fuel
supply line.
Discard the retaining clip.
4. Remove the intake manifold. For additional
information, refer to Section

NOTE: The fuel injector electrical connectors

are numbered with each cylinder.
Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors
and remove from the bracket.
6. Remove the fuel injectors and fuel injection
supply manifold.
Installation
NOTE: The fuel injector electrical connectors

are numbered with each cylinder.
NOTE: Install a new retaining clip.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
