5. CAUTION: The generator must be
protected from contamination. Failure to
follow this instruction may cause premature
failure of the generator.
Protect the generator with lint-free material to
prevent contamination.
6. Disconnect the fuel supply and return spring- lock
couplings. For additional information, refer to
Section 310-00A Fuel System - General
Information / 310-00B Fuel System - General
Information.
7. Detach the fuel supply and fuel return lines from
the retaining clip.
8. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional
information, refer to Section
Lifting.
9. Install the crossmember alignment pins.
