Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.
2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (H02S)
electrical connector.
3. Remove the H20S.
4. Detach the catalytic converter from the exhaust
manifold.
5. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional
information, refer to Section
Lifting.
6. Disconnect the catalyst monitor sensor electrical

Discard the nuts.
