A2: CHECK THE EGR VALVE
Connect the special tool to the disconnected

vacuum line.
Ignition switch in position II.

Using the special tool, measure the vacuum at the

EGR vacuum line.
With the engine at idle and below 30°C, is no vacuum
indicated on the vacuum gauge?
Yes
GO to A2. .
No
Using WDS, CHECK the Exhaust Gas Recerculation
Valve Duty Cycle input signal to the EGR vacuum
regulator valve. If the result is 0%, INSTALL a new
vacuum regulator valve. TEST the system for
normal operation. If the result is not 0% continue
the diagnostic with WDS.
Remove the charge air cooler outlet pipe.

Detach the power steering fluid reservoir and

position to one side.
