Vacuum is kept constant regardless of the increased en-
gine speed.
NOTE
If there is no vacuum created, it is possible that the throttle
body purge port may be clogged and require cleaning.

When disconnecting the vacuum hose, make an identification
mark on it so that it can be reconnected to the original position.

hose) from the solenoid.
(2) Disconnect the harness connector from solenoid.
