Use this screen to configure the VoIP settings of a port on your H.248 VoIP line card. Click a port
number in the Port H248 Setup Line Card screen (see
screen displays.

Setup screen (see

DESCRIPTION
These are the numbers of the line card's ports.
Click a port number to display the Advanced H248 Port Setup screen (see
page
294).
Select a check box in this column to activate a port. Select the check box at the top of the
column to activate all of the line card's ports.
Enter the name for this port's H.248 Termination. By default, the port's Termination name is
"termX", where X is the port number. Enter up to 31 alphanumeric characters. Spaces are not
allowed.
Select the digital signal processing profile the port is to use. If you have not configured any
profiles, only the default profile DEFVAL can be selected. Configure DSP profiles in the Profile
> VoIP DSP screen.
Use this column to choose a port from which you want to copy settings.

Click this to return to the Port H248 Setup Line Card screen.
Select the check box to activate H248-based VoIP on this port.
Select the digital signal processing profile the port is to use. If you have not
configured any profiles, only the default profile DEFVAL can be selected. Configure
DSP profiles in the Profile > VoIP DSP screen.
This field displays the H.248 Termination name of the port. The Termination name is
assigned by the media gateway controller.
Enter information to identify the subscriber connected to this port. You can use up to
31 printable ASCII characters (including spaces and hyphens).
