11.26 Rate Limit Profile Setup Screen

Use this screen to set up Ethernet subscriber line transmission rate profiles. You apply the rate limit
profiles to individual Ethernet line card ports (see
click Profile > Rate Limit.

DESCRIPTION
Enter a descriptive name for the rate limit profile. The name can be 1-31 printable ASCII
characters long. Spaces are not allowed.
Set the maximum allowed transmission rate (in kbps) for traffic coming in from the
subscriber. 0 means no limit.
Set the maximum allowed transmission rate (in kbps) for traffic coming going to the
subscriber. 0 means no limit.
Click Apply to save the changes in this screen to the system's volatile memory. The system
loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Config Save link on the
navigation panel and then the Save button to save your changes to the non-volatile
memory when you are done configuring.
While you are modifying a profile, you can click New to start configuring a fresh profile
without saving your changes.
Click Cancel to start configuring the screen again.
This is an incremental number indicating the order in which the profiles were created.
This is the name of the profile.
This is the maximum allowed aggregate data transfer rate (in kbps) for traffic coming in
from the subscriber.
This is the maximum allowed aggregate data transfer rate (in kbps) for traffic coming going
to the subscriber.
Select the profile you wish to load or delete.
Select a profile and click this in order to edit its configuration.
Select a profile and click this to delete the profile. Once deleted, information cannot be
retrieved.
