Resolving Lip Sync Problem

Problem
One of the optional video devices, an optional camera or a video converter, causes the video delay.
Solution

There is a lack of synchronization between audio and video.
Configure lip sync settings.
If configuring from the endpoint, you must first enable advanced configuration, as described
in
Maintaining the XT Endpoint Locally from the Endpoint
1.
Access the video quality settings by doing one of the following:
• From the XT Endpoint web interface, select Administrator Settings > Calls >
Video Quality > General.
• From the endpoint's main menu, select Configure > Advanced > Calls > Video
Quality.

Description
Set to Yes to minimize error in case of packet loss
(for example, due to network congestion).
If set to Yes, a Flow Control (bandwidth reduction)
request is sent to the remote terminal in case of
packet loss.
If set to Yes, you may set the number of allowed line
errors before video is frozen.
