About this task
You configure the connection depending on the type of camera and its functionality. This includes
configuring the Scopia XT Camera Switch. You can do this procedure from the endpoint itself or from the
XT Endpoint web interface.
Before you begin
If configuring from the endpoint, you must first enable advanced configuration, as described in
Maintaining the XT Endpoint Locally from the Endpoint
Connect the video equipment, as described in Installation Guide for Scopia XT Endpoint for IP Office.
Procedure
1. Access the camera settings as follows:

Registrar DNS Name
Use SIP Proxy
Proxy DNS Name

Connections to the XT Endpoint Using TLS
• From the endpoint's main menu, select Configure > Advanced > I/O connections >
Cameras > General.
Select Yes.
Enter the DNS name or IP address of the IP Office
server.
Select Yes.
Enter the DNS name or IP address of the IP Office
