Modifying the Username and Password for the XT Endpoint

About this task
This procedure describes how to change the username and password used to access the XT Endpoint
web interface. We strongly recommend that you change the default credentials first time you access the
XT Endpoint remotely (for more information, see
Endpoint for IP Office
Endpoint web interface.
The default credentials for remote access are:
• username - Admin
• password - 1234
Before you begin
If configuring from the endpoint, you must first enable advanced configuration, as described in
