Using the Sleep Timer
You can set to terminate 1Seg automatically
after the certain period of time.
 You can set it either in the Normal style or in the
Media style.
Example: For the Media style

Press (Func) while watching 1Seg.
The Function menu appears.
For the Normal style
From the Function menu, select [Other]
a time before terminating 1Seg automatically.

The Sleep setting menu appears.

Select from [30min], [60min], [90min], [120min],
and [OFF].
When the Rec timer is set while recording a
video, the set Sleep timer is disabled.
Using the Program Guide
i- ppli
Using the program guide i- ppli, you can
activate 1Seg by selecting a program from
within the program guide and set a timer for
watching or recording a program.
 "G
List Remote Control) is preinstalled as the program
guide i- ppli (P.225). For details, see the "Mobile

From the Menu, select [1Seg/AV]
[Program guide] and press

To start the program guide i- ppli while watching in
the Normal style
Press (EPG). You can also start the program
guide i- ppli when, from the Function menu,
select [Other] [Program guide].
To change the software to be activated by the
Program guide key
Move the cursor to the software in the list of
i- ppli software and from the Function menu,
select [Individual set]
[Yes]/[No] (P.222).
When you select a program in the "G
" (G-GUIDE TV Program List Remote
Control) display, you can watch the selected
program by pressing
Setting a Timer for Watching/Recording
a 1Seg Program
You can set a timer for watching or recording
a 1Seg program. When you set a timer for
watching a program, the alarm sounds to notify
you of the start of the program at the specified
date/time. You can save up to 50 timer settings
for watching and recording programs.
 When the channel list is not set, you cannot set a
timer for watching or recording a program.
 The copy control signal (indicating that "the program
cannot be recorded (Copy Never)", "the program
can be recorded only once (Copy Once)", or "the
program can be recorded without restrictions (Copy
Free)") is placed in 1Seg. They are set by each
broadcast station.
 If the copy control signal of a program is one of
"the program can be recorded only once (Copy
Once)" and "the program can be recorded without
restrictions (Copy Free)", the program can be
recorded.
