Setting Whether to Prioritize the
i- ppli Sound
You can set whether to prioritize the i- ppli
sound when 1Seg, Music Player, and i- ppli
are activated simultaneously.

From the Menu, select [i appli]

Select [preference]/[unpreference] and

[preference]:
You hear the i- ppli sound.
[unpreference]:
You hear the sound of 1Seg, Music Player, or
Music&Video Channel.
Even if you select [unpreference], you hear the
i- ppli sound when the sound of 1Seg, Music
Player, or Music&Video Channel is muted.

[preference], you may not hear the i-
sound.
Setting the Sound/Indicator
While Using the GPS Function
You can set the Positioning tone to be used
and the vibrator and incoming indicator
operations to be performed when you position
and notify your current location and when
you are requested to provide your location
information.
Example: Setting the sound/indicator of the Position
location

From the Menu, select [LifeKit]
[GPS settings]
and press
[Position location]:
Set the operation to be performed when the
current location is determined.

Move the cursor to the positioning tone and

Select the volume of the positioning tone
at [Volume].
Select from [STEP UP], [STEP DOWN], [OFF], and [1
to 6].
 [STEP UP] turns up the volume every six seconds
and [STEP DOWN] turns down the volume every
six seconds.
[GPS]
To set the positioning tone to [OFF]
Press

Enter the duration for sounding the
positioning tone at [Ring time].
Enter the duration within the range from 01 to 30
seconds.
