Using the /station command
The /station command associates ViewPoint with a specific phone, either a station ID or a
remote number. You can use this switch to set up various ViewPoint shortcuts for different
remote locations, so you don't have to wait for ViewPoint to launch, then choose
different station
Syntax
/station:<station number/remote number>
For <station number>, specify an internal or external station ID, for example /station:77.
For <remote number>, use the following syntax:
<access code><extension/phone number/IP address>
access code.
code for Strata CS to use when placing calls to you. If omitted, Strata CS uses the default
dialing service for your number type.
extension.
extension, not a Strata CS extension.
phone number.
the + to have Strata CS use dialing rules when dialing the number. Omit the + to have
Strata CS dial the number exactly as you enter it without applying dialing rules.
IP address.
ip:dotcomaddress.com/1234. As when entering IP addresses in ViewPoint, you can
specify the address by either name or number, and optionally add a slash and append a
dial-through number for H.323 Gateways. See
