Logging on to Strata CS from a remote number

Logging on to Strata CS connects you to the Voice Mail / Account menu, from which you can
check your voice mail, change or record new greetings, forward your calls, change your personal
status, and more. For a full description of the telephone commands, see
Chapter 5
If you have permission, you can also place new outbound calls through Strata CS.
To log onto Strata CS from a remote phone

Note:
The initial key that you to use to log on might not be # on your Strata CS system. Ask your
Strata CS system administrator if your system uses a different key.
Logging out from a Strata CS session
When you have logged into Strata CS from a remote phone, and you are ready to end your Strata
CS session, press
completely off the system. If you do not log off completely, Strata CS waits a short period of
time before ending the session. If you pick up your phone again before that period is over, Strata
CS still controls the line and assumes that you are calling from within the system. Therefore, any
number you dial will be treated as if it were an extension within Strata CS.
Logging on from a voice mail greeting
When you call a Strata CS extension and get voice mail, you may be able to press
voice mail greeting to log on to your account. Check with your system administrator to see if
this feature has been enabled for you.

Receiving Strata CS calls at a remote number

This section does not apply to you if you have an external station. See

To receive your Strata CS calls at a remote number that is not an external station, forward your
calls to that phone. See

CS telephone commands just as if the remote phone were a Strata CS station. Be sure to
