The following connectors are recommended for attachment to CS-series 96-
point I/O Units.

Note Solder-type connectors are included with each Unit.
We recommend using cable with wire gauges of AWG 28 to AWG 26

(0.2 mm to 0.13 mm
max.
1. Check that each Unit is installed securely.
Note Do not apply excessive force on the cables.
2. Cover the Unit while wiring to prevent wire clippings from entering the Unit.
If there is a dustproof label on the top of the Unit, do not remote it before
you wire the Unit. (Remove the label or other covering after wiring has
been completed to allow air circulation needed for cooling.)

3. When solder-type connectors are being used, be sure not to accidentally
short adjacent terminals. Cover the solder joint with heat-shrink tubing.
