Assigning IP Address via Address Selection Switch

Use the address selection switch to set the host ID, i.e., the last byte of the IP
addresses, which are entered in the Web-Based Management System on WBM
page "TCP/IP", entries "DIP switch IP-Adress P1 and P2", with values between
1 and 254 binary coded.
Example:
Stored in the fieldbus controller DIP switch IP address for port 1: 192.168.7
Stored in the fieldbus controller DIP switch IP address for port 2: 192.168.4
Set DIP switch value:
Resulting IP address for port 1:
Resulting IP address for port 2:
Host ID 1 - 254 via address selection switch freely adjustable!
Use the address selection switch to set the last byte of the IP addresses to a
value between 1 and 254. The DIP switch is then enabled and the IP addresses
are composed of the DIP switch base addresses stored in the fieldbus controller
and the host IDs set on the DIP switch.
The IP addresses make via the Web-based Management System or "WAGO
Ethernet Settings" are disabled.
Address selection switch values 0 and 255 are predefined, address
selection switch disabled!
If you use the address selection switch to set the value 0 or 255, the address
selection switch is disabled and the setting configured in the fieldbus controller is
used.
With the value 0, the settings of the Web based Management System or "WAGO
Ethernet Settings" apply.
If you set the value 255, the configuration via DHCP is activated.
The base address used consists of the first three bytes of the IP address. This
always depends on the DIP switch IP addresses currently saved in the fieldbus
controller.
If there are still no static IP addresses in the fieldbus controller, the default value
192.168.1 for Port1 and 192.168.2 for Port 2 defined by the firmware as the base
addresses are used when setting the DIP switch to 1 - 254.
The address selection switch setting then overwrites the value of the host ID.
