Age Time Settings

5.2.3.1. CLI Configuration

Node Command
enable show mac-address-table
aging-time
enable configure terminal
configure mac-address-table aging-
time VALUE
Example:
L2SWITCH(config)#mac-address-table aging-time 200
Success!
L2SWITCH#show mac-address-table aging-time
The mac-address-table aging-time is 200 sec.

5.2.3.2. Web Configuration

Description
Select All, Static, Dynamic or Port and then click Apply to
display the corresponding MAC address entries on this screen.
Click Refresh to begin configuring this screen afresh.
This field displays a MAC address.
This field displays whether this entry was entered manually
(Static) or whether it was learned by the Switch (Dynamic).
This field displays the VLAN ID of the MAC address entry.
This field displays the port number / Trunk ID the MAC address
entry is associated.
It displays CPU if it is the entry for the Switch itself.
The CPU means that it is the Switch's MAC.
This field displays the total entries in the MAC table.
This command displays the current MAC address
table age time.
This command changes the node to configure node.
This command configures the mac table aging time.
The range is 20 to 500 or 0: disable.
