5. Basic Settings

5.1. General Settings

5.1.1.

System

Management VLAN
To specify a VLAN group which can access the Switch.
The valid VLAN range is from 1 to 4094.

If you want to configure a management VLAN, the management VLAN should be

created first and the management VLAN should have at least one member port.
Host Name
The hostname is same as the SNMP system name. Its length is up to 64 characters.
The first 16 characters of the hostname will be configured as the CLI prompt.
Notices:
 The default Hostname is L2SWITCH
 The default DHCP client is disabled.
 The default Static IP is 192.168.0.254
 Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0
 Default Gateway is 0.0.0.0
 Management VLAN is 1.

Command Description
This command displays the eth0
configurations.
This command changes the node to configure
node.
This command sets the system's network name.
This command enters the eth0 interface node to
configure the system IP.
This command displays the eth0
configurations.
This command configures a static IP and subnet
mask for the system.
This command configures the system default
gateway.
This command configures a DHCP client
function for the system.
disable: Use a static IP address on the switch.
enable & renew: Use DHCP client to get an IP
address from DHCP server.
next_restart: The settings will take effect on
next system restart.
This command configures the management
vlan.
