3. Remove the cable tie securing the choke and throttle
cable to the oil drain (Fig. 286).

4. From the rear of the machine, pull the cable
rearward from the frame.
5. Remove the throttle knob from the throttle lever (Fig.
287).

6. Remove the two carriage bolts and nuts securing
the throttle lever assembly to the control panel (Fig.
288).

7. Remove the cable clip and then the "Z" bend of the
cable from the throttle control lever assembly (Fig.
