11. Install the spindle shaft into the spindle housing (Fig.
581).
Note: Rotate the spindle shaft as it is inserted
through the spindle housing to spread the
grease.

12. Position the bearing shield onto the top of the
spindle housing (Fig. 582).

13. Secure the pulley to the spindle shaft using the
washer and nut. The torque will be applied in a later
step (Fig. 583).
Note: The welded side of the pulley hub faces
upward.
