MOWER DECK
5. Position the deflector assembly, spacer, and torsion
spring onto the mower deck (Fig. 671).
Note: The torsion spring "J" hooks must straddle
the deck plate.
6. Secure the deflector assembly to the deck using the
bolt and nut (Fig. 672).
Note: Do not over tighten the bolt and nut. The
deflector assembly must move freely.

7. Hook the "J" hook of the torsion spring onto the
defector mount (Fig. 673).
