MOWER DECK
10. Remove the two flange nuts securing the engine
base to the top of the mower deck (Fig. 699).
11. Place a 2"x4" under each side of the mower deck,
then lower the deck onto the boards (Fig. 700).

12. Remove the bolt, washer and nut securing the front
strut to the mower deck (Fig. 701).

13. Remove the four flange nuts securing the lift chains
to the mower deck (Fig. 702).
Note: The HOC handle will spring to the transport
position once the deck is unsecured.
